TrainVents have a duration of 0.5 to 1 days, and are held 100% outdoors.
After a friendly takeover, 120 employees of a real estate agency are introduced to their new colleagues (80 employees) and a new management. The new colleagues should be integrated as fast as possible, and take on the culture of the new community. Every employee ought to become a change agent.
The 200 employees are randomly assigned to 16 groups. As the groups start to paint their picture with paintbrush and easel, the theme ‘We build ourselves a new village’ serves as a metaphor. In the following, different team challenges have to be solved in order to receive various utensils. These utensils will be of meaning for the night-life in the village (e.g. fire, charcoal, keys for the refrigerator car, tools, etc.)
In the afternoon, participants receive several bags out of which a little tent-village emerges with the help of the tools, later on. Every challenge (exercise) is reflected and analyzed, regarding different origins and cultures. A standardized reflection sheet provides long-term results for management as well as employees. A corresponding documentation is handed out to every participant.
In the evening, the village is built and the team-spirit strengthened. Being comfortable with each other, people from different origins will now proactively take on the change process.
