Example scenario for stress management

The trainings usually take 3 days and occur outdoors for 50% of the time. The participants feel that their workload is not acceptable in the long run.

Company X sends 9 executives who took a significant part in the restructuring of the business. Through the permanent burden, constantly changing conditions, and numerous hours of overtime, avoidable stress has emerged.

Participants acclimatize in a comfortable hotel. After creating the basics for trusting interactions between trainer and participants, the group starts with simple outdoor exercises, which are targeted specifically towards the context of leadership.

On the first day, participants find out how to generally assess situations and which consequences arise out of them. They specify their stress factors and gain knowledge about human information processing.

The second day is reserved for the high ropes course. This is where stressful situations are simulated and evaluated afterwards. In the process, participants acquire individual coping strategies.

The third day embraces insights, and evolves around the topic work-life-balance. Questionnaires, as well as collegial consulting about preferred thinking will be utilized. Furthermore, participants find out where their ‘stable zones’ are, and create a matching work and life concept, which offers them relief.
