’It was great, but the essentials happened in the coffee-breaks.’ This answer was the kick-off for the development of the method ‘open space’. Offering the participants open space, urgent issues at the time are exactly what comes up.
Composing a conscious and precise main topic, the parenthesis is the theme of the conference. The pertaining issues of the participants are compiled, and in the following processed in groups. Everyone can choose at every moment, in which group he/she would like to work.
At the end, every participant receives a booklet containing all protocols. Participants now prioritize the results and meet in their groups once again in order to create action plans for the top 10 results.
