The Authority Responsibility Power profile (ARP) is designed to identify the levels of authority and degrees of responsibility assumed by an individual. In addition, bases of perceived power are ranked according to individual preferences.
The results will help show how you view yourself relative to others, your willingness to assume responsibility, the types of power which are most desirable to you. The ARP will also identity the potential amount of power you create when interacting with others.
The scientific background of the ARP - The latest findings of brain research and behavioral research state that there are certain common traits among successful people: For example the way of self-perception, their endurance, the ability to motivate the self, and empathy. Psychologists found a term to sum up all these traits – “Emotional Intelligence.”
People who score high on emotional intelligence maintain interesting and vital social interactions, and therefore play an important role in their work environment. At the same time, they keep an eye on themselves as well as on others. In the ARP, the described elements are expressed by the terms “authority and responsibility.”
