Key qualifications and core competences are interdisciplinary qualifications which are supposed to enable to take action. They make it possible to handle factual knowledge in a proficient way, (not expertise) and are put together from a wide spectrum of comprehensive skills (cognitive as well as affective ones).
A little more accurately than the term qualification is the term competence. Qualification being something objective, it can be achieved by exams like M.A., engineer, etc. Competence on the other hand, makes us think about individual characteristics.
Social competence: Communication skills , cooperation skills, Conflict management skills, Emotional Intelligence
Methodic competence: Ability to analyse, creativity, interlinked thinking, eagerness to learn
Personal-competence: Inner attitude: Willingness to perform, motivation, flexibility, endurance, creativity, reliability, independence
Action competence: A combination of the three areas of competence that were referred to earlier. In this context, competence can be understood as the ability of someone to act in an appropriate way, according to the situation
