The High Ropes Course is not a standard course but a unique blend of possibilities put together exclusively by faszinatour for each and every customer. The target group that the High Ropes Course will be used for determines the design and belay techniques that can be used. We differentiate between High Ropes Courses for experiential learning and adult training, for tourism or for a combination of the two. Type 1: Experiential learning and adult training
In this area elements would be used that reflect the aims of the course program. Whether it puts more emphasis on teambuilding or on personal development. This can mean that a "top rope" belay system is more appropriate. In this system the participants are belayed (held on a climbing rope) either by the guide or the rest of the group under the supervision of the guide. At the end of the activity there should be a talk reflecting on the emotions during the activity and how it related to the aims of the course program. Group sizes of between 8 and 15 people are ideal. Type 2: High Ropes Courses within tourism
On this High Ropes Courses is a fun experience at the for front. In a height from 8 - 9 m large platforms would be fixed so that the participant can try out the various different elements by themselves through the "Self-belay" technique. The participant is at height for the whole time they are on the HRC and is free to move about where they want to, to do as much or as little as they want. Additionally would be fun and adrenalin-elements like giant swing, climbing wall, death slide or pamper pole integrated in the final design. These large High Ropes Courses can take groups up to a maximum of 100 people at any one time. Type 3: Multi-function High Ropes Course
Multi-function High Ropes Courses can be used for both of the above target groups. We would then ensure a combination of both types of elements.
