Planning Schedule

The construction of an Adventure Park is an extensive project and requires a significant amount of preparation. From the first planning steps until the opening of the park a minimum of 3 to 6 months is needed.

• First planning steps, look for a suitable location: 1 - 8 Weeks.
• Location check inc. plans and quote from faszinatour: 2 Weeks.
• Outline planning application: approx 2 Weeks
• Exchange of contracts and receipt of necessary documentation: 2 - 5 Days.
• Receiving planning permission: 4 - 12 Weeks (depending on Government office).
• Preparation for construction phase, Equipment order etc.: 4 - 6 Weeks.
• Construction phase: 2 - 4 Weeks (depending on size).
• Staff training: 1 Week.

Our experience has shown that the most operators would like to open their Adventure Park in April or May. This means that they need a construction date in the first quarter of the year. If there is a hard winter January and February, in most of Europe, are not possible to build in. For this reason the main construction time is limited to two months. As the Adventure Park market is booming in Europe it is very difficult to give all of our customers the exact construction dates that they would like.

For this reason, we would suggest to begin with the planning for your park as early as possible, so that the construction can already take place between September and December. The winter months can then be used for advertising, press releases and other marketing. If the winter is mild the possibility of an early opening will then be there, especially on sunny weekends where the first income can be generated.

Naturally we endeavour to provide the best construction date to suit every customer. However the earlier the planning is organized the more lightly we can guarantee your perfect construction dates.
